  awesome, fish is the very best and the sides & complimentary appetizers delightful, excellent bar, excellent menu, great service, always friendly - one of the best places we have ever enjoyed. Duck, shrimp, beef wellington, salmon, vegetarian wellington, walleye, chicken, pasta, veal, steak, trout, scallops - of course not just one veal dish or one chicken dish - check out their full menu on-line. Great every time, every dish we have tried.

  We won't be back. The windows were dirty....silverware was smudged. The appetizer plate served with each meal was... not really gross tasting...but, olives looked all soggy, the cauliflower had brown spots. The onions had dirt under the greens. The tomato Florentine soup was awful! The walleye was OK but had to many bones in it... that came with a sweet potato which was fine. The other meal we had was the shrimp linguine it was just mediocre.Their dishes all need to be updated. The food is too expensive for the quality and quantity..instead try Aqua land....great food plus they served your food on nice white modern dishes!! Oh and the two stars are for the nice waitress!

  THE best restaurant in the North Woods, hand down! The service is great and the food is awesome. I've been going there every year for 20+ years when in the area and never had a bad meal.
